Hi. I’m Amanda Leighton, and I’ve been serving as your office admin at MBCM for nearly five years. Many of you might recognize me as the person handling your CCLI licenses or as one of the presenters during Safe Place Policy training. Perhaps we’ve collaborated on a church event or exchanged emails on one matter or another. Whether our interactions have been extensive or more casual, warm greetings to each of you.
This month’s edition of our eNews marks the end of a season. I am moving on from MBCM, ending five years of employment with you. I wanted to take a moment to reflect on my time here and let you know that it is with quite a bit of gratefulness that I take my leave.
These past five years have been full of opportunity for me, both professionally and personally. I have been grateful for the chance to grow and hone my office skills, plan and facilitate your events, understand the importance of safe place policies and motivate you to implement them. Yet, above all, I am profoundly grateful for the chance to be among you, to foster relationships, and now, to come full circle as I step out of the ring.
Thank you for the memories, the growth, and the warmth you’ve shared. Though this season is being punctuated with an end for us, I also anticipate a new beginning and what better way to start than during the Christmas season.
