Many have lost their homes, and for those who haven’t, a sense of grief is ever-present. A member of our Mennonite Brethren community in Flin Flon has expressed that “those of us who had homes to come home to are suffering from survivor’s guilt.”

The small community has come together adding “an extra hour for grocery shopping or running errands: taking time for hugs, comparing evacuation stories, and brainstorming ideas on how to help those who lost everything.”

So far Flin Flon/Creighton/Denare Beach have not had to evacuate again. Please pray for our community, churches, and ministries affected by the wildfires.
