Celebrating Impact: A Look at This Year's Impact Award Manitoba Recipients

The impact award is funding to empower local churches to send students to university campuses as supported missionaries. Churches can apply for $2000 of direct funding intended to be used as a missionary stipend for the student applicant.

The church will make an impact on the campus as we partner together with campus ministries to empower, equip and support our students in the transition to University.

This year, we are thrilled to celebrate a remarkable group of recipients who have been living missionally in their context and their churches are now sending them to their university or college campus to connect with campus ministry groups and share the gospel.

This group is a mixture of first, second and third year students. Some of them are already in areas of leadership and have demonstrated leadership, compassion, and an unwavering commitment to making Jesus known.

There are also 12 other recipients for this award from around North America. The others are in B.C. (6), Saskatchewan (1), Ontario (1) and the USA (4).

We want you to already be thinking of who from your church you might want to nominate for 2026. Who have you identified as being on mission and you would like to walk alongside as they go to University or College where they can share God’s love and the transformative work of Jesus in their lives.

This program has been mainly supported by one donor up until this point. We are seeing the number of amazing applicants growing and we would love to offer the award to all of them.
